Please take 16 minutes to sit down and enjoy this amazing, spectacular, well thought, and well shot short film. I guarantee it’ll put a smile on your face and inspire to make someone close to you or even a complete stranger smile too. Feel free to pass this along as it has a message that I believe everyone in the world needs to hear.
Definitely agree about the simplicity and the fact that it was shot in B&W may have been done solely to enforce the simplicity of the design but it may have also been done because of a small budget. I’ve noticed a trend in small budget productions in being more creative and intriguing because the producers are forced to work with what they have with no overhead. I think given the story and the budget I would much rather shoot the film in color but you don’t see B&W movies very much and not because that’s “lower” tech or anything, it’s just a style people are afraid to use. But in the end I have to agree because the story was so simple, shooting in B&W makes it easier to develop the story and characters.
Helloe, Watched it. Loved it. Simple, that is the key–simplicity.
I wonder if the black and white added to that idea.
Would you have shot this in black and white?
